What is NAD+ treatment?

NAD+ is found in every cell in your body. It is what helps make you feel young, both in terms of age and health. It acts on cellular processes, at the level of the mitochondria of cells. NAD+ is given by IV infusion or IM injection and provides the following benefits:

Support energy metabolism 1,2
Aid in the repair of DNA damage3,4
Modulate gene expression
Enhance the stress response
Decreased NAD+ levels are associated with metabolic disorders, cancers, and neurodegenerative diseases

Personalised, high-quality care from qualified clinical nurses

It is essential to emphasise that our qualified nurse clinicians follow a rigorous continuing medical education programme offered by iCRYO. This training enables them to master the principles of nutritional medicine, to ensure that they provide you with personalised care tailored to your specific needs. As a result, they are able to provide you with a high-quality service, in complete safety. What's more, we make it a point of honour to guarantee the hygiene and quality of the equipment we use: everything is sterile, and all our IV, IM and NAD bags are carefully frozen to preserve their effectiveness and optimum quality.

Frequently Asked Questions

NAD+ Processing FAQ

NAD+ is a molecule naturally present in the body. This treatment is administered via IM injection or IV infusion by qualified nursing staff. Increasing NAD+ levels may support various aspects of well-being, particularly related to the natural aging process and certain age-associated conditions. Research on the subject is still evolving, and few studies have thoroughly documented the long-term effects. Some studies have reported potential side effects, such as muscle pain, nerve issues, fatigue, sleep disturbances, or headaches. However, none of these effects pose significant health risks to users45,46,47.

NAD+ is a molecule naturally present in your body, so this treatment is completely safe. It is given by IM injection or IV infusion by one of our qualified nurses. Increasing your NAD+ levels provides many health benefits that will help you slow down your body's aging process and prevent certain age-related diseases.

NAD+ provides many health benefits and more are being revealed as scientists learn more about this molecule. Given its crucial role in many bodily functions, NAD+ therapy can contribute to anti-aging, muscle function, metabolism, heart health, increased energy levels, and slowed neurodegeneration.

NAD+ treatment reinvigorates your NAD+ levels with an IM injection or IV infusion. With aging, your NAD+ level gradually decreases and your body has more and more difficulty producing it. NAD+ treatment increases this rate and provides your body with the boost it needs.

Low NAD+ levels can lead to problems such as obesity, high blood pressure, cognitive impairment, lack of energy, and many age-related diseases. By maintaining an adequate level of NAD+, you can feel younger, longer.

A 2016 study showed that the administration of nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN), a precursor of NAD+, increased the median lifespan of female mice by 8.5%48,. However, this effect was not observed in male mice, suggesting sex-specific effects on NAD+ metabolism. Although studies are still underway to determine the incidence in humans, many hope that this is our "fountain of youth".
